how faint is a faint line on a hpk?

This is going to be a little confusing, sorry!

I did a 1st response this morning and got a , BUT when I looked really close, held the test up to the light I could make out where the left hand side 'pregnancy' line was, a pink colour too, but very, very, VERY faint. Not visable from any distance, at a glance or on my camera (sorry, tried!).

Is this the norm for a bfn, or is it possible it could be early, early positive?

Ignore my ticker (i had a mc so really aren't sure what dpo I am, i just counted the 1st day of my mc as cd1!)

i think i had the same today! like i could just tell there seemed to be something there but i dont know if i am just imagining it and looking for something that isnt there

i saw mine in immediately after the test

That sounds like a good sign...I would try to take another one with FMU just to be sure but a line is a line! Good luck!

Pretty much the same time the other control line appeared, within the right time..

Yeah, i got a bfn (well, 3 lol, what am i like!) only about a week after my mc

I have, the same as my last pregnancy - just symptoms very similar to af coming - bloating, sore boobs, 'that' heavy, tired feeling allover, only this time my cycle is allover the place so I'm really not sure when af should be arriving! So it REALLY could be either, I don't even know when af is 'late' this time! Grrr, very annoying

i didn't know either, i just googled it!

I know the bloated feeling. i feel like im going to pop, im so tired and so hungry but when i eat i feel sick. and my boobs hurt but it could all be af shes not due for a few days so i might test on sunday...

when r u going to test again.

an evap i believe (anyone correct me if im wrong) is a line that shows up on a pg test when it starts to dry you i think its not normally the colour of the test u r using but i dont really know how to describe it...can anyone help on that!

I tested today because i'm going to Alton Towers tomorrow on a college trip with work - now do i go on the rides or not?! Argh, that's why I wanted to know today! Going to test again next Monday morning I'm away tomorrow night till sunday night at my parents!

i know how you feel about the wanting to know so you can do stuff, its so annoying because you cant be sure a negative is correct! the only way we will know for sure is if AF comes or we get that positive result. good luck for monday!

i know what u mean i just want to know either way. i showed my sister the test and she could see something but im still not sure. i know people say a line is a line but its that faint that im not going to believe it until i get a half decent line.

as for the rides im not sure!!!! i dont think personally i would want to risk it but then again if we are imagining things then you dont want to feel left out.

There was a thread on here a long time ago about the slang etc used on here with all the definitions but i dont remember where it was.

i have just remember in the back of a TTC book it had a glossory of terms and they are all the same as what is used on here, so i think they are all pretty common shorthands, so my recomendation to anyone would be just google them and im sure you will find a list of them all
