How far along am i?

I had an early scan at what i thought was 8+4 weeks going by my lmp but the lady said i was 8+2 weeks,i know its not a huge difference but how far along should i say i am?

At your early scan did they actually measure the baby and give you the date based on the measurements? If so, I would go by that date.

Yeah she did all the measurements.

It will probably change again when you have your 12 week scan x

At my scan I was measuring 5 days behind and was told by both the person doing the scan and my dr that they will go by my original date (according to my LMP) - that way if I went over and needed to be induced I wouldn't have to wait that extra 5 days.

So I'm just going by my original date, not scan at this point (oh and I was told early scans can be 3-5 days out anyway)

Yeah the lady said the dates could change at my 12 week scan which is on christmas eve.
