how long after baby fully engaged / dropped could labour start???

I'm guessing bubs could stay like this for ages, but today my midwife told me i was fully engaged and i have noticed today as well that my belly has dropped like a lead balloon!

I was wondering whether this could mean any day now or whether i could be like this for another 5 weeks?! xxx

awww i hope she makes an appearance AFTER Christmas! sounds like she could be here whenever
- i'd say i wouldn't worry as you've had the steroids etc.

do you know what weight she is at all? xxx

if baby is fully engaged it shouldnt be that long u would be having to wait one would think! my belly dropped at36 weeks but he is not fully engaged.. he is 3/5ths and that means he can still go in and out aparently. and i am now 38 weeks.. sometimes my belly has lower days then others. xoxo

It could be a while yet. I had a friend who was engaged for 6 weeks. she was in agony the whole time, it was a shame. then other ppl engage just b4...
