How long did it take you to conceive after miscarriage?

I was wondering if you could tell me How long did it take you to conceive after miscarriage?

I am having one right now and the thought of moving on is keeping me going.

I have read a lot of women get pregnant right away!

Can you please give me some hope!

It took me 2 cycles after my MC to conceive my daughter. The cycle in between my MC and getting pregnant again was very heavy with a lot of clots so I think my body had some stuff to get rid of before I could get pregnant again.

So sorry for your loss, I conceived after my first period after my mc. My doctor recommended I have one period before trying which I did.. hope you get your rainbow baby soon xx

Sorry for your loss. I got pregnant the cycle after I miscarried. I waited one cycle just for things to regulate. I wish you both the best of luck!

Again, so sorry for your loss, after my second miscarriage I got pregnant the very next month, without even a period in between. I did lose that baby though, and it took a couple years to conceive again, but I have unexplained infertility.

Does anyone know when I can start again if I don't have normal cycles. I do not ovulate on my own. I wonder if I will after the MC though???

It's anyone's guess, I was more regular after the miscarriage than before. You'll have to speak to your doctor, most like you to wait a cycle purely for dating purposes, I've seen some people be advised to wait 3 months.

Sorry for your loss! I miscarried in May and began trying right away. I had regular cycles right away after my MC, but they were very heavy with a lot of clots. I think July was the first time I even ovulated after my MC though and I just found out that I'm pregnant last week

Sorry for your loss when I had my first miscarriage I conceived immediately without a period inbetween and I now have a healthy 2 year old. I went on to have another miscarriage last year and didn't try again straight away. I had a missed miscarriage in Feb this year at 12 weeks with required surgery and it took me 3 cycles to conceive and I am now 16 weeks pregnant my advice your body won't conceive unless ready I conceived first month trying with every pregnancy except this one and I just feel my body hadn't recovered from the surgery so no harm in trying.

I'm sorry for your loss
It took us 8 months to get pregnant, had a MMC, then the next cycle (with period in between) I got pregnant. I miscarried that one as well. It took us another 9 months + clomid to conceive.
Don't give up. Every woman and cycle is different.
I hope your body is still all geared up and you will ovulate on your own and normally. I hope to see you back here soon

Sorry for your loss. I have several angel babies, some consecutive. With my daughter we had a d&c for a miscarriage and conceived before I had my first period. With my current pregnancy, we conceived second cycle after another d&c. We are fertile just not able to hold a pregnancy too often. Best of luck to you. It's hard but I wouldn't change a thing because if it weren't for my losses before my daughter I wouldn't have her and she is truely amazing and inspiring.

I conceived straight away after my first mc (no period) then miscarried again, I had one period then conceived again and miscarried again. Waited a couple of months to try again while we were getting tests done and conceived again with this baby. So from first mc to (hopefully) rainbow baby it took 6ish months.

My daughter was conceived 2 weeks after my mmc, it was a massive shock.

Everyone is different though, it will happen xx
