How long did it take you to conceive after miscarriage?

About 6 months for us. My cycles were a little wonky for 2-3 months and then they went back about to normal.

My first full term baby, I got pregnant within days/weeks. I never had another cycle between miscarriage and conception. My current is 16w, and I got pregnant post miscarriage about 5-6 months.

Sorry for your loss it's so devastating I hope your being looked after.
I felt like you and wanted to start again as soon as possible. I ovulated two weeks after miscarriage and I fell pregnant and am now 15 weeks along and so far scans have shown a healthy pickle. How pregnancy weeks are worked out it actually meant that the day I miscarried was the first day of this new pregnancy. We had previously been trying hard for nine months so I do believe that you can be more fertile after a loss.

Miscarried in January 2012, didn't try and let myself heal until February 2012. Tried again February-March was negative. March to April was positive and had my son. So, it took three cycles but two actually trying.

It took me 3 months after my m/c to conceive again. However, we conceived on the first month we used OPKs, before that we were most likely trying at the wrong time. So it might have been sooner if I'd understood my cycles a little better. I think my first pregnancy was a bit of a fluke!

I mc'd in March '11' and had one cycle in which I didn't o (used cbfm) got my BFP may '11'.

I am so sorry for your loss when I went through my miscarriage it kept me going to think about trying again. I had a blighted ovum in late December into January of this year. I had one regular period and got pregnant with this little girlie here! My doctor advised us to wait one to three cycles but I got pregnant after my first period. Now I'm 25 weeks and she's a healthy little active girl. Good luck and I hope you get your rainbow!

Note: I should have said this in my original post on this thread. It took us 5-6 months this time however, we NTNP this time. Last time we got pregnant right away and were trying.

The cycle we conceived this time, I flat out told DH i was ovulating and he said, lets give it a go, and we got one.

We get pregnant very easily, but miscarry often.

Sorry to hear you had to go through a mc. It took me 8 months to get pregnant again. Which may be a reflection of my pcos. Others without that sometimes get pregnant sooner. Just be sure to give your body and mind a break if you feel you need it. We took about two months off in that 8 months of trying. Helped us recover emotionally, and not stress over it.
