How long did you go before taking to docs with constipation?

My LO is constipated..shes been passing really small amounts of hard, firm poo for 2 days now (she usually goes between once and 3 times per day) so Im just wondering how long did you leave it before you took your LO to the docs?

Shes also having lots of water but it doesnt seem to be helping.

My LO is a rare pooper..He always has been he'd go days without a dirty nappy and it used to really worry me but there was never any medical problem.. After 4 days of no dirty nappy I rang the doctor to ask if there was anything I could do or if anything was wrong and she advised a milkybar button..And it worked a treat I'd give it a go and if there's still no dirty nappy by the next day see the GP
