Reall taken to the iCandy but don't want to spend all that money if bubs is likely to grow out of it by 6 months. How long did u use it? What age did u have to buy something bigger/lighter ?
lol, unless the father is the BFG I don't think you should have ANY concern about the baby out-growing the iCandy in 6 months lol!
You may have some wires crossed though - iCandy recommend that with any of their strollers you purchase a carrycot for the first 6 months - this allows them to lie flat on their backs for the first stages of their life which is great and important for growth and the development of their spine. For the first 6 months your baby should find it very comfortable, and although they're not technically a replacement for a moses basket, I found that they were just as good and perfectly fine on occasion for overnight sleeping. Remember though, all children develop individually and at different rates so yours may want to be up and looking out earlier.
iCandy recommend that after 6 months the child should then use the seat unit - with the Peach you can have it rear-ward facing and have your child facing you for the next 6 months and then forward facing there after.
If your heart is set on the peach, then fear not - it is very lightweight so you shouldn't need to worry about finding a lighter stroller, and from my experience of iCandy they're high-quality and last extremely well.
so yes, after 6 months expect to change to a seat unit, but not a new stroller altogether
