Hi ladies.

I hope you don't mind me posting this question here. I have also posted in the miscarriage support but then found this forum and it makes sense asking here as I might have more answers.

I'm waiting to miscarry naturally. I should be 13+3 today but my baby died around 9+3. I'm ready to say goodbye to my angel. How long did it take your body to miscarry? I don't want a d & c.

So sorry you are going through this. I wanted a natural miscarriage but after waiting two weeks I couldn't take it anymore, and I took misoprostol (cytotec). I felt like it was a good compromise between waiting for a natural miscarriage and a d and c. I would talk to your doctor if you are tired of waiting; if you are comfortable with that medication then it may be a good option for you. It was easy physically, of course mentally there is no easy way about this. When did you find out you lost your little one? Let us know how things go…. :hugs:

Thank you for your reply. I found out I'd lost my little one on 4th December at my 12 week scan. I had no idea it had happened. In fact I have been vomiting until yesterday and have only started to lose the morning sickness today.

So sorry dear...i have had one recently too... We survive ... Hugs.., i waited until i was 11.5 weeks and then took medications...

:hugs: I'm sorry for your loss.
I miscarried naturally the same day I found out my baby hadn't grown past 6w (I should have been 10+3).
I felt like I needed to make a mind/body connection for it to happen. I had a calming bath with lavender (I would have added clary sage if I could have found it) said out loud a few times that my baby was gone, let myself grieve, and then told my body it had done a good job keeping my baby in there, even if it had stopped growing. Then I told myself it wasn't my fault and it was just one of those things that unfortunately happen sometimes. Then I just told myself it was time to let it go.
Within an hour I started contracting, and and it all passed pretty soon after that.

I don't know if that will help you at all, but I do feel like it made the difference for me.

It took me close to 4 weeks before I naturally miscarried, baby had stopped developing at 6 weeks 1 day, I started miscarrying at 9weeks 4 days

I waited 6 1/2 weeks. I tried the misoprostal at 5 but due to retained products I had to have a D&C.
