How long do you stay in hospital

I had teddy on the Friday morning, I could've gone home Saturday afternoon but I stayed an extra night to help with bf, went home Sunday morning so about 48 hrs :) x

I had my daughter on Thursday at 2:10 PM and I left the hospital Tuesday at 12:00 PM, then I went back Friday due to an infection and stayed until Wenedsday!

I was there less than 48 hours, once I could walk and pee they said I could leave cause LO had no problems

after my son was born by EMCS on the sunday at 4.08am, I was let out on the weds morning around 11/12ish so 2 and half days. My hospital said that they usually let no complications go on the third day.

i had my daughter (EMERGENCY C-SECTION) at 04:13am on sunday morning and was allowed to go home tuesday morning, was in macdonalds at 10:30am on the way home lol x

I had mine on Tuesday and left Friday night. I should have gone home on Saturday but they were happy with mine and babies progress that they let me go earlier

2 and half days, I feel great after 48 hours but it was late so I spent the night at hospital.

Our insurance pays for up to 96 hours I believe. I'm sure we'll be going home before that if all goes well.

Went in on a Sat night 8pm, had csect at 11:15am on Sunday, and went home Wed at noon.

Believe 3 days is the norm for the states, but could vary by hospital.

I had am emcs and stayed three nights and left on day four because I had enough of the hosptial environment and my little girl was out of the special care unit. It still hurt to walk and pick up baby at that stage so I should have stayed the full five but I coped

When I had my DD 4 years ago I went in monday evening and had an emerg c-section that night and was release friday around lunch.

Not sure if I should be expecting the same, but I figured around 3 days if all is going well.

I had my little man (my 3rd section) at 11:29am on a Monday and was home by 1pm on the tuesday, so less than 26 hours later! I did have to self discharge though as it was less than the standard 2 nights, but all the drs and midwives agreed I was fine to leave. After having 2 before I pretty much knew the score by then anyway!

My 1st elective i was out on 3rd evening
my 2nd Elective i was out on 5th evening (due to baby losing close to the max weight allowance)

I stayed 3 nights - 2 is the norm, but i wanted extra help with bf'ing, so stayed a 3rd night.

I stayed in 2 days in total after my section, but mine was an emergency and since their was no complications during or after the section they let me go after 2 days :D

Ended up staying 3 nights and it was considered leaving early but there was no need to stay a 4th night. I was very ready to go home.

Due to my pre eclampsia which became post partum eclampsia and having an EMCS they wanted me to stay five nights to a week but I was able to choose and left with the okay from my OB and doctor after three nights in hosptial, i could not stand it anymore, I just hate hospitals even though the maternity staff were great and my LO was sleeping and eating at the time very well and my hubby was me and the food was okay, I just missed home and started crying on day three because I missed home and was very lonely and full of the blues so I went home

Ideally I would have listened to my midwife and stayed in hosptial until day 6 or 7 as my little girl needed more monitoring later on and I needed lower blood pressure and could have done with more rest and sleep as during your stay the midwives are fabulous with looking after your baby when you have the blues and cannot cope with changing or feeding for an hour or so, yeah stay in as long as you can even if its deadly because you will miss the sleep when you get home
