how long do you thing 300 diapers will last.

i should know this as i have 2 kids already but i can't remember. i bought 300 size 1 diapers. they go up to 14lbs. i was thinking that would last me the 1st month but wasn't sure. i know newborns go through lots of diapers and it varies between kids but i was hoping someone could give me an average on how many diapers their newborn goes/went through. thanks.

id say 6/8 nappies a day

6-9 nappies a day so approx. 40 days (average 8 nappies a day) A little over a month

It could entirely depend on your baby! Our LO was *so* sensitive to being wet that she'd pretty much cry as soon as she'd pee'd. Some days we could do 15 nappies + That's one of the reasons we went to cloth! Saying that, even my HV said that she was quite unusual in that, so I'd guess for an "average" baby, that'd be fine

It's certainly enough to start you off - you could always get more if it turns out you need them

Our LO pooped all the time, so we went through at least 12 newborn diapers a day. He was also tiny, so we couldn't use the size 1 diapers until he was 8 weeks old.

that would last us about 4-5 weeks but I would suggest not buying huge amounts, maybe a pack of a few different brands till you figure out which one you like best. I had LOADS of pampers and freaking hated them! LOL I was so glad to run out

thanks everyone. i figured 300 would last about a month but figured it couldnt hurt to ask. i want to stock up on them because i dont want to run out for diapers. especially since i am using babiesrus brand and i try to avoid going in there more then i need to as i spend way to much money when i'm just supposed to grab one thing.
