How long does it take for tax credits....

I phoned up the last week to change my payments from monthly to weekly which they said was fine

How long does it take for payments to start being paid weekly is immediately or does it take a while?

Would it be 4 weeks after your last payment so that they dont over pay you ? Not sure just a guess

I've checked my bank account and they've put a one off £46 in there. But I don't think that's right £46 a week =£184 a month when I usually get £358 (would get £388 but apparently they over paid me last year so I'm paying back 30 a month till January).

But I phoned tax credits (they can only give general advice till next monday) And they said its probably a one off payment. I'm not sure how I'd work out how much Id get a week ? Xx

Devide ur usuall amount by 4 and thatssss ( let me go on calculator ) lol 88.5 so deffo give em a call when theyr up n running again!
