How long does Sperm live inside womans body...8 or 9dpo

This may sound like a dumb question, but I'm going through my tww and I'd like to know if anyone became pregnant from sperm that lived 5-7 days. I've searched all over google and some articles say that sperm can live 3-5 days and some even say up to 7 days. What do you ladies know and has anyone gotten a bfp from sperm that couldve lived 5-7 days? I'm not exactly sure when I O'd (hence the 8 or 9 dpo) and I tested yesterday (possibly 7 or 8dpo) because I felt like AF was coming but it's way too early for her ugly face! Tested saturday night but AF isn't due until next thursday. Today I dont feel anything...am I already out this month and please help me understand the lifespan of sperm. Thanks ladies!

Female sperm tends to be hardier than male sperm and survives longer. Male sperm most likely starts dying off after a few days where as the female is more likely to survive for upto 5-7 days.
