How long have you been trying to conceive?

Hey, I was just curious as to how long you have been trying to conceive as my journey seems relatively short compared to some people on here...
We have been ttc since March 2009 and it seems like FOREVER!!! Admittedly, it was rather half-heartedly at first, but that soon changed and we have been trying hard ever since. Some days I wonder if I'll ever see those two little red lines!!! How about you?

I tried one year and went into my tri 1. That's truth some people out there are have a long wait, and some very short. Good luck, and hope your will end up your ttc into BFP, not forever, but soon.

2 years ish now-can't find anything wrong, just isn't happening. On ivf no 2 now.

Over 4 yrs.. 1 BFP after a year of TTC but MC at 10 wks.. No BFP since (3 yrs from MC).. It sucks...

14 months yet 17 cycles(LPD).. onto FS+HSG+SA(retest) in the next month or so, possible IUI I'm assuming if everything checks out.

1 1/2 years 2 chemical micarriage we are going infertility testing now. HSG test looke results good waiting for all blood tests now and Feb 22 appt.

We've been trying since June of 2010, I have Endo, it was removed in Nov 2011, my DH is fine.

We haven't been trying as long as a lot of the ladies on here.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but have you had IVF during this time?

We've been TTC for 2 years. There's a 4 year waiting list where I live for IVF.

I'm now only on my first cycle of Clomid. I've had some procedures, but no IVF yet. We actually have a clinic in my town, and the IVF doctor is suppose to be one of the best in the state. Truth be told, I'm not sure I will do IVF. My husband and I have talked about finances, and with as much as it costs, we could spend the same on adoption and get better results.

13 months for me so far, had all blood tests done and o/h has had 2 lots of s/a, booked in for f/s 24 Feb, hopefully for chlomid or something along them lines. x

Trying since August 2010. Hugs to all the ladies who've done this for so long, you ladies are strong. I did start "prepping" my body in December 2009 due to health issues (changing and optimizing meds). I was hoping that would have done it.

OMG Jack79! 4yrs waiting list? I'm under North Lanark, it's 9 months for IUI and I think she said another 9months after that for IVF/ICSI, but would have to do IVF at Glasgow Royal. I'm struggling with my BMI, so I doubt I'll get in the system in time as I'm nearly 38. DH is out working a 2nd job as I type to get money to go private.

We were NTNP for 5yrs, and TTC for 7yrs
