Well I have been on the boards for going on 2 years now and been ntnp/ttc for 16 months. Is this where I should be haging out now? Im scared to make the move, it feels like admitting defeast in my head, but maybe we will need help to concieve, and I increasingly find myself relating more to threads in this area..
Will you accept me to LTTTC? I feel defeated for being here, and also not sure I belong, as we are not intense ttc as oh really wants to keep it natural. I just worry that natural wont happen for us :(

Sorry Im just fed up now. I really thought it would have happened by now. As im sure many of you did.
So, am I considered Long term trying? Although I dont religiously temp or opk? I still want the same result I just have to tread carefully around other half. Babies are just everywhere right now, I know we all have moments like that but :nope:

hello josephine :hugs:

Im sorry to here your ttc journy is taking a little longer than you hoped, it really is so hard especially when everyone is pregnant and having babies :hugs:

I started my journal in lttc a couple of weeks ago after 16 months ttc, that for me felt like "long term" it felt sad that i was admitting that we were having a more "scenic" ttc jornal but actually coming here and reading the posts and chatting to some of the ladies has made me realise that my ttc journy has lots more posibilities.

im not a big fan of temping and opking some months i do it and some months i dont... my oh isnt a fan of interventions either... but we are working on it!!

if you want to buddy up wilst lttc feel free to pm me or pop in to my journal.

hopefully you will have a super short stay in lttc :hugs::hugs:

You have to be actively TTC for over 12 months.
35 or over actively TTC for 6 months.
Or already know you're facing infertility-IMO

I don't understand which is it? NTNP or TTC?

somewhere between the 2! I cant be ttc as much as Id like due to OH not liking the intervention side of it

Well if you've been actively trying to conceive for 12 months of those 16 months..then I'd say your LTTC. But if you haven't, then I'd still say give it some more time. Everyone is different..Some don't try and it happens. Others conceive in the average year with actually trying. Then there's LTTCers who have been trying past a year and are facing infertility. They've already been to the FS/gyno and know what they're up against.

So if you haven't TTC for 12 months, yet..then I would say give it more time before you call yourself a LTTCer. In my experience, you have to actually try in order to get your BFP. Good luck!
