How long shall I wait?

Good evening everyone.

I had a miscarriage on July 10th at just over 6 weeks. I had a period on August 18th and now on September 22nd, so it looks like my body is regulating my cycles well.

We are wondering whether it is ok to try this coming month or should we wait another cycle?

I'm sorry for your loss.

If you're feeling well mentally and physically then I don't see why you can't ttc now. They normally tell you to wait a cycle for dating purposes xxx

Hey there. Sorry to hear about your loss. I didn't wait 😕 My doctor told me I could try again when the bleeding stop (although every case is different). I lost my little bean this time last month and I got a BFP yesterday. Lots of babydust to you when you do decided when to try xx

I'm not waiting either, had a d&c on 28th of august, haven't had af yet and we ttc straight away! I've heard lots of conflicting advice on when is best, some say a month, some say 3 months and some say you can try straight away! I suppose it all comes down to when you feel you are emotionally and physically ready. Good luck and sorry for your loss

I second what dinky says. My doc said wait until a normal period, usually 3 cycles. Although he said if my first one is normal go right ahead. Just depends when youre ready.

Well since you've already had 2 periods and proved that your body seems back to normal, I would say as long as you're up for it mentally I don't see why you couldn't go ahead and ttc again. I only waited 2 cycles after my last mmc which also happened in July and am currently in the tww. Good luck to you!
