How long should I pump & dump?

Ugh. I wasn't thinking. Due to some bad stomach issues I was/am having last night & this morning, I took some pepto. I took 3 doses last night & 1 this morning. LO has not had any of the expressed milk from the time onwards of taking it.

I'm dumping everything I've pumped since the first dose (ouch). Pediatrician after hours are for emergencies.

I was thinking about just pumping/dumping for the remainder of the day.

Has anyone else done this? Would a pharmacist be able to advise me?

I was told 24 hours by the pharmacist after taking medication incompatible with BFing, but they will usually ask the drug company.

I ended up doing that, but then had to do it over the next few days. Ended up having to get my gallbladder removed and had no way to sterilize or clean my pump parts, so basically ended up with what was probably bacteria infested breast milk, so I sadly had to pump and dump far too many oz
