i feel the same. i want to find someone, maybe not right now but next year or so. but i dont go out much and i dont want to either. i like taking my LO out in the day time and by night i like my bed. lol. Xx

Have you tried joining a dating site, but specifying you're just looking for friends at the moment. That way you can dip your toe in so to speak. There's always gonna be some douchebags on them but you might meet someone who is happy just talking as friends and it then grow into something else when you are ready.

Is there a reason you don't want to put a pic up hun? To be fair if I was on one and someone didn't have a picture, first thing I'd think is they had a wife/girlfriend they're worried will find them x

i just wouldnt want someone who knows me (in real life) to see me on there

im quite a private person. i'd be embarrassed. not that its shameful or anything, i just dont like ppl knowing my business. tbh though i dont think i'd date anyone who doesnt have a photo, i know they say dont judge a book by its cover but i probably would!
so i prob would have to end up putting one on anyway. Xx

I'm a trainee teacher and I'm really wary of my online personality. All my profiles are completely private and the only place I really post pictures is on here. Also I think I have a problem with putting myself out there just in case no one likes me xx

Aww bless you, definitely understand it with the teacher thing I guess though. I guess you could put a photo on of something that interests you most or means a lot to you (other than LO obviously ) then that will draw peoples attention with the same interests and just put it on your profile that you have photos private due to your profession, and then send them privately to the people you want to. Worth a try I guess x
