How long will it take for my milk to dry up?

Hi i just started FF yesterday and my boobs are so sore and engorged. How long does it take for them to become comfortable again?

I left mine well alone when I stopped expressing, took a couple of days for them to feel comfortable and 2-3 weeks to dry up completely xx

I will stop breastfeeding and pumping in about a week... thanks for the thread, I was wondering the same thing. I am scared of missing the breastfeeding but my twins aren't gaining as much weight and have dropped a few centiles already!

Mine took about 5 days and I was expressing when it became painful. I had low supply though which was my reason for giving up BFing in the first place.

For the engorgement/uncomfortable ness about a week.
I'm still leaking....

The soreness and massiveness went after about a week or so. I still leak a little and still have some come out when I pinch them though not as much milk as I did a few weeks ago.

I expressed whatever milk I could get, was engorged and had loads of milk for 2-3days but it died down.each day and after a week the engorgement was gone. By 2 weeks there was very left to express. I still have a few drops of milk now. It will go quicker if ur not expressing though xx
