How long will you offer milk in a bottle?

My nephew is 14 months old and is drinking cow's milk. My sis still gives him a bottle, just wondering how long you did or will give your LO's milk in their bottles or when you plan to swap to a beaker or sippy cup. I like the thought of him having a bottle before bed as part of his routine but don't want him still expecting a bottle when he's 2 or 3!!

my daughter is 16 months and i still give her a bottle for drinking as she would make lots of mess with a sippy cup but all kids are different and are ready at different times so its just trial and error GL when you start trying xxx

My son had good control of the double handled tommee tippee spout cup (red/green ones, not the bottles with handles) at 8mths so that is what we used.
He had a lot of trouble with all these valve lidded beakers and to be honest I tried a few of them after he got annoyed with not getting anything and you really really do have to suck!!!

i didnt think zane would still be taking bottles, but at nap and bedtime he has a bottle of cows milk and hes 2 next week. but i will be weaning him off that now and swapping to a cup of milk before bed instead, i just hope it works lol

I'm gonna see how callum does, but i wouldn't want him to have a bottle past his first birthday, i'd prefer him to have a sippy cup by then but we'll see how it goes! xx
