How Long???

Hi, im a mum of 2 aged 13 and nearly 10, a boy and a girl, Im 37 years old and DH is 40, wanting baby no3! just wondering how long it took anyone near this age to get pregnant???

Long, every one here is still trying. Some find it easier than others.

Maybe you want to submit this thread on the pregnancy over 35 forum as they will be able to tell you how long it took them to get pregnant.

AFM i have been trying propperly for 5 months and NTNP for a while before that. No BFP on that time x

At age 38 I got pregnant our first month TTC we lost it though. took 2 years to get another BFP we lost that one too. were dealing with low sperm count though so that's why its taking so long I think .

First time first cycle, lost mc. Second 7 months, lost that one too. Now I´m 38 and have been trying for over a year. It is a bit like asking how long is a piece of string? I hope you are one of the lucky ones!

I'm never sure how to answer that question.

It took me 19 months and 4 IUIs in my midtwenties.

Then, 1 month and 7 months in my late twenties and early thirties.

Now, midthirties, I'm 16 cycles and counting.

I think it's a bit like winning the lottery. Sometimes you're lucky, and othertimes you're not.
