:hi: ladies as the title says really :)
How many of each have you packed in your baby's bag?
What sizes have you packed?
I'm thinking newborn as I'm not huge I've quite a neat bump and not really that big to be honest... Hmmmm thanks in advance :flower:

I think about 3 of each would be fine. Not sure on size my last was 8.9 and noticed a lot of newborn is only up to 7lb so iv been buying from sainsburys etc which have a size up to 1 month - 10lb
Its hard to tell with your first although I must have taken newborn first time and wasn't too small x

I'm not big in bump and last baby was 4 weeks early at 4lb 12oz so currently Oakes prem stuff and first size 3 of each

Thanks ladies, I will pack newborn/first size and maybe a few up to one month incase as I guess you never know I might be small but baby could surprise me :dohh:

I've packed three of each. Three vests and three baby grows. 1x new born(first size) and 2x 0-3 months in each.

My first was 8lbs7oz and I remember packing mostly new born items. The drs and mws that delivered him was convinced that none of the stuff we took for him were going to fit. So much so that they even went to their little stash and got us some larger clothing. The stuff we took for him ended up actually being slightly big on him. So just in case I am covering all bases this time around. I'm hoping she will be smaller then him, but who knows.

I am taking 3 of each in 0-3 months I don't mind it being too big but I usually have larger sized baby's anyway

3 of each and 1 'outfit' - a long sleeved vest, soft knitted joggers and a matching hat and socks. I'm only packing 0-3 month as I do have bigger babies aswell.

I've packed what my hospital notes advised - 6 babygros (sizes varying between newborn and 1-3 months) 6 vests (I've mixed it up between short sleeved bodysuits, vests and a couple of the front opening vests from Mothercare so the cord stump isn't rubbing against material all the time).... If I'm honest I'm trying really hard not to pack everything!

I am very happy that where I live they provide the long sleeve onesies while we are there.. I wouldnt want to have to pack like I am going on a holiday! I am just taking the twins each 1-2 outfits for going home each.

I still haven't decided..I just want to take all his clothes :haha:

Thanks ladies for all the advice I now have a rough idea :)

I'm in the UK- would you put baby in long or short sleeve vests under their babygrows? I have a load of long sleeved ones and few short sleeved ones...

I've packed short sleeved ones - ooh now you're making me wonder if I should put a couple of long sleeved ones in too..... (Any excuse to unpack and repack!)

I know the hospital I'm going to the ward does tend to be quite warm and I will probably use short sleeved during the stay but will use long sleeved when we're going to leave (I'm due in 3 weeks). As a FTM with DD I found long sleeved vests under onesies a pain when she was newborn, it was just awkward :haha:

I have 3 x newborn and 1 x 0-3 just incase. I've packed short sleeved vests, most of the ones I have are short sleeved actually maybe I should buy some long sleeved.

When I had my stay in hospital a few weeks ago I found it VERY warm, which is why I never considered long sleeved bodysuits/vests before.

I agree about long sleeve vests under babygrows= impossible. Last time I always did short sleeved after too much struggling. Then added a cardi over if they felt cold

Thanks for the tips ladies- I will probably use short sleeve in hospital and save the long sleeve ones for home and when we are going out- if I can get them on her lol! I hope so otherwise a waste of money all the long sleeve ones that were brought for us :/

To be honest, I never even thought about long sleeve body suits with my first. Never really had a need for them either. We had some, as part of outfits etc. But would always use a short sleeve vest under the sleep suits. If he was to wear trousers or an outfit then we would put a long sleeve top or cardigan over the short sleeve vest.

im getting short sleeves for the hospital as they are so warm !

I'll take 3 of each maybe 2 of each newborn and 1 0-3. my son was 7 lb 5oz and still newborn was big on him. i got some short sleeves for hospital as its always boiling, and long sleeve for home. Eek can't wait to start packing but hanging on a bit longer!!!
