Hello My Little one was on 5 bottles a day. at 7 ounces, now he only has 4 plus babyrice, seems happy with this, this is due to him sleeping longer at night, so he doesnt have a earlier bottle, do you think i should move the ounces up to 8 now then? or shall i wait till he tell me, he wants more?
Thanks Ladies xxxxxxx

Does he finish the 7oz bottles? if he does then up it to 8. if he is not finishing them leave it at 7.

Yes he finishes them, but not crying for more, how many bottles does your little one have a day

Every baby is different, so knowing what other babies of the same age are having isn't necessarily going to help you. Follow your LO's lead, he isn't going to take more than he needs. Why not try making up an 8oz bottle and see what he takes of it? We always make up an ounce more than our LO tends to take. We've just started making 7oz bottles today, as yesterday she started draining her 6oz bottles.

at 4 months LO drank about 8 bottles with 5oz in...if i would put more, he wouldn't drink it for the love of god. lol

At 4 months Joe was taking 6, 6 or 7oz bottles but we haven't started weaning yet so all his calories come from milk still. If he's draining them, then I'd up the amount by 1oz.
