I have only had one. I gave birth this way to my first child. It was an emergency c section. This time I am hoping very much for a VBAC, but if I do need another c section I probably won't be having another other children.
I've had 2 now, an emergency first time and an elective last week, was hoping for a vbac this time but BP was getting higher and strarted getting pre-e symptoms, at my hospital they only induce a vbac if they can break your waters and as I wasn't favourable I had a section 2 days later.
I had an emergency c-section last week (pre-eclampsia) and my consultant did the stitches so I could have a vbac in another pregnancy, if I wanted....not sure if I want another pregnancy, tho -- need to recover from this one first!
3...two were emergency, the last was scheduled...although she almost was an emergency when I went into premature labour, but they were able to stop it.
Hi there. I have just sent you a pm. But in short, the word allowed shouldn't be used when it comes to your birth. It's all your decision, if you want a vbac then you go for it!
1st - emergency c-section(went through contractions , 10cm dilated)
2nd - tried for VBAC but baby didn't drop( contractions , dilated 6cm)
3rd(present) - elective of course ! don't want to pass both labour pain and c-sec pain!!
