As the title says, how many cycles did it take you to get pregnant?

Did you do anything to prepare (i.e. prenatals, RRLT, other supplements)?

We were very lucky as it only took us for months of trying.

The first 3 months we took it like a military operation: checking when I was ovulating, DTD on those days and after frantically, sticking my legs in the air after sex for 30 minutes etc! My OH (who loves sex!) actually got turned off it and we both agreed that our sex life was no fun any more and it was beginning to be stressful!

The last month we tried, I started taking pregnancy vitamins, and also relaxed with the military operation of getting preggo! We had sex when we wanted, stopped checking if i was ovulating and just went with the flow, and surprisingly I became pregnant!

It's true what they say: relax and not stress!

it was either the 17th or 18th cycle, but i have long/irregular cycles so it was 2 years!

i tried just about everything to be honest! temping, soft cups, SO many different vitamins and supplements for me and him, soy isoflavones, RLT, crystals, diets, baby aspirin, i did three monitored cycles of femara with timed BD...etc :)

eventually ended up getting pregnant by accident

We got it on the 4th cycle. First 3 I was really demanding and stressing over it. 4th cycle I was really ill with tonsilitis and ear infection and really not bothered or interested. Lol.

I didn't count cycles but it was 5years 3 months so around 60.

I tried agnus castes, RLT, soy, EPO and even 2 cycles of clomid after I'd lost enough weight to be prescribed it but I got pregnant on the break cycle that we took when we didn't really try. I hated all those, just stop trying and it'll happen stories but it did happen for me. I think losing a lot of weight and taking clomid kick started things though. We were on the waiting list for IVF, due to start probably in October which is when our baby is due.

We took 7 cycles but there doesn't seem to be an option for that! (Pregnancy brain? :dohh: )

So I put 8 :)

LOL Omg, I just realized I forgot 7 Cycles.... Oops... Sorry! haha

We took approx 96 cycles, 8 years of trying :( we tried EVERYTHING and then had IVF with ICSI and got pregnant first time, now due in just under 5 weeks and can not believe it! Good luck xxx

It's never taken us over 3 cycles to get pregnant (though we lost the first 3 from chemical -27 weeks). I did take Mucinex and think that was the key. The first time was more NTNP as I didn't think anything would really happen anyway (though we both discussed it and agreed we'd be happy if it did). I just happened to be on Mucinex because I caught a cold and was pregnant right away. After we lost her we did purposely use Mucinex to conceive the others.

I stopped taking birth control 3 weeks before our wedding, and got pregnant on my first cycle afterwards (1 week after our wedding). I'd been taking birth control for 11 years. Quite a shock to get pregnant so quickly! But definitely a good one. :)

i got pregnant 1st cycle after coming off the pill with my ds and the second cycle with this baby.
we just dtd every other night without fail and it worked for us

1sr time for us. i had been tracking my cycles a few months before using opks.

1 cycle with both. With DS we didn't do anything. With DD I took pre-natals and dieted (I had baby weight to lose and wanted to be a good weight before getting pregnant) for 3 months before trying.

We got pregnant after 1 cycle but sadly I had a miscarriage :( We took a few cycles off and then it took 7 cycles after to catch the eggie again (which I see isn't an option! :))

This time we caught first cycle trying (2nd cycle of BC) , which we was not expecting at all. I took folic acid for about 5 months previously. With my DS it was the 3rd cycle and again I'd been taking folic acid for a few months before hand.

We don't use birth control so I have no idea! My youngest was 13 months old the month I conceived.

not sure how many cycles but way more than 17. 4 years of trying. we tried everything under the sun. finally I spent my husbands deployment busting it in the gym, lost 25 pounds, and got accepted by a fertility specialist because of the weight loss. We conceived this little guy our first assisted cycle with clomid+ultrasound monitoring+trigger shot. we got really lucky.

We got pregnant the 2nd cycle off the pill (after 13 years on it). I honestly didn't do anything too special other than chart (BBT and CM, but frankly CM was way more helpful for me and I think why I got pregnant so quickly), take prenatals and relax. I never gave up caffeine or alcohol while TTC and in fact, the month/week I conceived it was a holiday and my husband and I went out lots and I drank way more than usual. I think enjoying ourselves and not taking it all too seriously was why it was easy for us (that and the fact I'm healthy and have normal, regular cycles).

30 cycles.

Took Soy and Concieve Plus.

Cycle 31 would have been clomid. Can't believe I only have 8 weeks left now! :cloud9: Definitely a journey.
