How many DPO did your OPK's start turning positive before you got a BFP??

something really weird this cycle.. i got positive OPK's yesterday and today

So...why do i find this odd exactly you might ask???? I thought i ov'd on about CD 13 because i got the bad cramps that I get to let me know that I am OV'ing

I dont think this is a surge that some women get before their period because my AF isnt due until the 16th.... If I am OV'ing late it would be very odd indeed and it would mean i am OV;ing on CD 19 and 20.... so weird..who the hell knows what it all means, LOL

Well at least I managed to get from DH the last 2 days...LOL...I am getting more action than earlier when i actually thought I was OV'ing, so at least i will be covered either way

And oh yeah the other option.... I am pregnant???? Time will tell...............

So my question is how many DPO did your OPK's start turning positive before you got a BFP??

And I am going to keep doing the OPK's the next few days to see if they stay positive... if they do not than it just means I OV'ed later than I thought.... I dont know why i didnt think of this solution before I posted this....LOL... now I feel silly.... ..... i can probably answer my own question over the next several days.... Oh well..it cant hurt to ask

I never got a positive OPK and if it weren't for the fact I was at a fertility clinic getting scans every other day to monitor ovulation, I would not know when or if I had ovulated! I had one June 15 and it was late in my cycle, follicle was 1.9 and was told if by my next scan on the 17th I had not ovulated I would be given a trigger shot. I felt ov pains on the 16th and on the 17th it was confirmed I had ovulated and in these days and a couple of more before them I must have taken at least 10-15 tests and never got a positive!

Doc said some women never get positive opk's as their surge can be small and barely enough just to do it's job!

I got pos opks (I had no hpt) at 7/8dpo and I'd never had a pos even when I was ov, that's how I knew something was up!?

Keep doing opk, if they fade you ovd late, if the stay dark do a hpt!!

I got what looked like a pos on CD12 and ov pains on CD14/15 I got very clear positives opk all the way from CD 16-22 (line was darker than ref line) I decided to stop testing as I was getting confused. Got a BFP on CD29

Not sure why that happened.

My OPK's are completely bare but my HPT's are quite dark so I guess that means they weren't positive after ovulation.

don't no about ur ladies but i only ever got a positive wen i was already pregnant lol.. didn't no that of course til after i had done about 6 days on the trot and thought thats not rite lol..gd luck babe :O) x

Agree! I had two line that were quite similar at CD12 but line was still lighter and effectively a negative I guess, then kept getting strong positives CD16 -22 onwards! I was so upset I was ovulating so late! lol!

I got a positive OPK at 8dpo and they got darker, I did a HPT at 10dpo and it was positive, sounds good the only way to tell is a HPT bite the bullet !!

Well here are my OPK's from this morning, all taken within minutes of eachother, I guess i wanted to be sure of what i was seeing so I did 3, LOL!!!

Do you ladies think it looks positive still?? Or is it getting to the point where the control line is now darker than the test line...in comparison to my other OPKS from the last 2 days???? I am not a fan of these kind of OPK's because it is so hard to tell what is going on......

Thanks for the feed back hun.. The left line is the control line and the right is the test line...hhmmmmm...so maybe it is slightly lighter than the days before??? I will do another one tomorrow morning and see if it gets any lighter so we can tell for sure.......

I will do an early HPT in a few days if the OPK's continue to stay dark......

Mine are beginning to look like yours and tomorrow I'll be 7dpo for sure because I got positive OPK's then as well mine aren't quite hitting the + side just yet but if I keep going it looks like it will soon!

thanks for all of the great feed back ladies.... My OPK definatly went negative today.. it was easy and clear to see today... So it is possible I OV'ed late......but since i had mid cycle OV cramps I really cant be 100% sure what the real story was this month.. I just hope it all amounts to a this month!!
