How many of you don't plan on preventing

...after that first baby comes along? I don't necessarily want my kids like 10 months apart, lol, but with all the issues my body has I don't want to screw it up even more with birth control pills again. I told DH the other day that I would never use any chemical form of birth control again, so the preventing thing would have to be his responsibility.

I have heard of some women's bodies regulating after their first pregnancy, so, if mine does, we can use the natural timing method... but if not, I guess my kids may be closer together than some! But if my cycles are as irregular as now and I have as much trouble getting pregnant, I won't have them that close together anyway...

I haven't really thought about that. I know I don't want to use BC again but I don't want my kids back to back where they both still in pampers and I don't want a lot of children either 2 maximum, 3 if accidental

Hmmm well I would like around 5 kids. If we reached our "limit" or whatever I think I would ask my hubby to get a vasectomy lol

Hi, IF i ever do finally get pregnant, i will just as my OH to wear a condom once we have our 1st child. i will not be going back on the pill at all. and once weve had all our children. i'd ask him to get the snip. or me go no the pill again. xx good luck girls

Hehe yeah I will be probably ASKING my hubby to use a condom at least for a few months, but that is unrealistic for us as he really doesn't like using them, and I have to say I prefer not to as well...

I have decided since it's taking this long ttc #1 that i will try for #2 a few months after #1.
I am firm on this decision and he has no choice but to go along with it lol not like he will say no.

As we seem not to be that fertile anyway (tried a few months NTNP and got zip) i will prob go for the natural method once/if we have our first. I originally planned on have 3 kids but not sure if we are even going to manage to get one now so who knows!

Either way i dont think i willl go back to using condoms after 2 1/2 years i have gotten to used to not having that wrapped sausage feeling and would feel yucky to go back to it!

i dont think i would want to go back on bcp. will probly use condoms but we'll see... in for a penny in for a pound! what will be will be... and as others have said getting 1 is hard enuf so cant see them being too close together!!

never ever again with pills. been told today that the 4 months of no periods and 3 months of looong irregular anovulatory periods is entirely normal off cerazette and i can expect to wait a year for it to sort itself out. I am never going through this again, so condoms all the way for us. OH can lump it. (he doesnt like them).

After the family is complete I may consider long term such as Mirena, but seriously will tell OH that if he wants to go bareback - he's getting the snip!

I'll be a ntnp girl...until we reach 5 children MAX and we may stop before that. But if after the first I become a fertile Myrtle either he or I will go in for tying and snipping

after we finally have #1 we dont plan on any formal birth control especially because its taking a lot longer than we thought to conceive i dont think im that fertile anyways if i do get pg with #2 right away then after i have that baby i will prob get my tubes ties or dh will get the snip...we decided 2 kiddos is our max

I don't think i'll go back on BCP again as it's taking so long to conceive this time & i don't really want to go through this again so we'll probably do the natural bc method as hubby doesn't like condoms either.

I don't think I will be getting back on BC or anything. I would prefer not to have my kids 10 months apart (your body takes 2 years to return to 'pre-baby' state and have the best chance at pregnancy again), but I'll take whatever considering I don't know that we will even get pregnant on our own.

We both decided alot of months ago that we were definately not going back on the pill. That is of course if we ever get to have our dreams become reality and become parents. We laugh and say wait and see we will have went through he'll to conceive the first time and then wham......we will be pregnant again straight after! Lol

At this stage we will just be grateful to get our bfp and have a happy and healthy pregnancy and birth! For now all we can do is dream

We've decided that once we have our first we will just be ntnp and if it happens again quickly then that's fine. If we do decide to use protection, dh will have to use condoms.

We probably wont, I went on the pill for a few months a while back but it completely messed with my head and made me into such a moody depressive cow. Honeslty I don't think I've been the same since, we used to use condoms religiously mainly at the start of our relationship but we phased them out as time went by and were using the pull out method for months and months before we officially started TTCing. We will probably just go back to pulling out after our first.

We will not be using any kind of protection or bc. We never thought it would take us over 2 years to get pregnant with our first. . . . I'm already suppose to be on #2! So we'll take our blessings as we get them, 10 mos apart, or 3 years apart.
