How many oz a day does your LO have at 3.5months/12lb?

Freya is on about 4 bottles in 24 hours now, which doesn't seem a lot to me.

She drinks usually drinks 6 or 7 oz during the day (3 bottles) and 7 or 8 oz at night feed (4amish).

Occasionally she will have 3 oz or so in the evening before bed but not always.

So she is on about 28oz a day, she has been on this amount for about a month now, obv some days she has more, but this is the norm.

I don't think this is very much....

So how much do yours drink?

I am weaning onto the bottle at the moment. I give mine 3 breast feeds and 3 bottle feeds a day and she's 12 weeks, 12lb 8oz. She breast feeds at 3am, bottle at 7:30am (4oz) breast at 10:30am, bottle at 1:30pm (4oz), breast at 4:30pm, then bottle for bed (between 4-5 oz), on the breast I'd say she has 3 -4oz as thats what I get when I express. So she's prob about the same as your LO hun. Hope that helps a bit.

Reuben is 3.5 months, but was 12lb 6oz at 11 weeks, and due to be weighed next week, so not sure about weight. He has:

7:30am 8oz
11:30am 8oz
3:30pm 8oz
7:30pm usually around 7oz
10:30pm (dream feed) 5oz

so around 36oz, but some days he will not drink all his 8oz bottles in the day, and he is larger in weight.

for a 12lb baby the average there suppost to have is about 30oz = 2.5 times their body weight

Alex drinks no where near this he is 13lb now he has about 4-5 bottles in a day and can take anywhere from 3-6oz but is still putting on weight lovely

omg sry to interupt my LO was weighed last wk when he was 4wk n was 11lb 12oz nearly as big as ur 3mth olds he hsa 8oz every 4hr

My little un is around this age but he's long and tall so weighs alot more than your little one..but we have just began weaning so he is gradually dropping a bottle and going longer.

but before weaning he was taking 5 in 24hrs as he took his 5th one in the day so he wouldn't wake in the night!

For the last 3 weeks Ruby has been having 45oz a day...but then she weighed 16lb at 3.5 months.

Toby is 17-weeks and weighs 14lbs 4ozs. He has around 6 bottles per day and over the last 4-weeks has been taking anything between 28ozs and 36ozs. We think he has been going through a BIG growth spurt though! When he was about 12lbs, he was taking 28-30ozs per day. He seems to struggle to take more than 6ozs per feed.

Archie was weighed today 14lb7oz and he;s only 7 weeks!! he's on approx 5 x 6oz bottles during the day and 2x 7oz evening/night. I think his amount needs increasing as 6oz bottles aren't really satisfying him now.
