how many presents?

how many presents do you get your kids to open on christmas day?

ive just wrapped ffions and she has 11, 2 big-ish main presents, 4 outfits, and 5 stocking fillers - total cost for all was about £50 if that.

i havent wrapped Rhys' yet as i havent worked out what is for his birthday and what is for christmas but he will probably have 4 big-ish main presents, 4 items of clothing, and about 6 stocking fillers, so that will make 14 presents to open.

now although these gifts are really cheap i like the fact they have quite a bit to open so we can spread it throughout the day.

so i was wondering, how many presents will your LO open on christmas day?

well this is our first xmas as parents and so far (you've just made me count as i've just been buying and popping it away ) she has 12 presents to open, one main present currently (a m and p eeyoree rocker) and a couple of bigger gifts, a push a long walker and such. i too like her to have presents through out the day, as we always do. my mum has gone mad and they have lots of big things, like activity station and car walker bouncer etc. tbh i feel like i haven't started yet with her presents as just been getting a few as we go along, i no she wont remember, but i'm too excited he he

i havent counted all brendans but there is LOADS i wrapped them last night and it took me forever, i think there is about 15-20 there, and its cost me about £170 and quite a few i got in sales! think i should just do his stocking now lol but no doubt ill spot more to get him yet

I havent counted them up, but Alex will have about 25-30 presents in total from us, not all big things mind, quite afew outfits in there and little stocking filler type things like toy cars etc but then he'll have whats in his stocking, but the whole family fill eachothers stockings (wierd tradition thing we do) so cant predict how much will be in there, probably loads, my grandmother goes ridiculously overboard haha

Guess I didn't spoil mine as much as I thought:

14 for Amanda
12 for Jayden
8 for Chase

I usually keep Amanda and Jayden's equal, but some of his gifts are more costly so Amanda deserves an extra few more. LOL I am pretty sure, just like other years, they won't notice the difference in quantity.

I think Lola has about 10 from me , about 3 big ones and the rest is little things (I'm actually quite proud of myself )

My mom goes insane, but she buys all of us the same amount. She has 9 kids (not including 4 grandkids!) and I think last year she bought us all about 20. It took until 5 pm to open them, and I think its just ridiculous. Some toys never even got put together (She has 4 kids under 5) so I told her just to wrap them back up for this year lol.

I haven't bought Helena anything yet. I was going to buy her that Ocean Wonders Sea Horse but my Mom bought it for her.

I can't remember how many things Rachel had last year but we must spend close to £300 each year on her, but she doesn't ask for much throughout the year. This year her main pressie has cost more than half of that so she won't have as much to open.

Ruby will probably have about 10-15 pressies but that's just counting what I've thought of getting her, not counting what I might see along the way and can't help myself, lol.

I only have one child, if i had more he wouldnt get half as much as hes got now.. So he best make the most of it cos im hoping to get my BFP soon!

I have gone a bit overboard I think.. specially cuz Amelia's dad has got her loads too. she is gonna be a spoilt little girl I think. Worst thing is, she is being very naughty lately and I keep threatening her that santa wont come and every time she has a tantrum thats one more present off her xmas list.. when she walks downstairs xmas morning and sees the room full of toys she is gonna think its ok to be naughty cuz santa still brings her toys. that little trick wont work the year after. lol. Might actually save some of her toys for her birthday in april. or is that mean?

a big trampoline, a peppa pig scooter, dolls pram, big toddler doll, Peppa pig wendy house, night garden bath set, charlie and lola cubes and balancing game, loads of crayola stuff and colouring bits and bobs, walki talkies, peppa pig rocket, peppa pig caravan and peppa pig house, 2 charlie and lola DVD's, fimbles DVD, a lazy town DVD and loads of other bits... I have got her a little tykes video camera too which I may save for her birthday cuz it 3+ and she aint three til april.

oh also a massive brats aeroplane (its 6+). God knows why her dad has got her that! men! they dont think! its huge.. dunno where thats gonna go.
