How many weeks till you can see a heart beat

Does anyone know at how many weeks pregnant is it possable to see your babies heart beat on a scan?
or how soon does its hart start to beat?

Thats ok, it's a little different for all people but 6-7 weeks is generally the consensus. I saw my little boys heartbeat for the first time at 6w 3d but the nurse said that was pretty early.

WE had a scan at 9+4 and there was a clear heartbeat

I had a scan at 6 weeks 5 days and we saw a heartbeat.

I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks 2 days and we saw a heartbeat

I had a scan at 7 weeks, was misdiagnosed a blighted ovum.
7+2 the baby & yolk sac were easy to see, but no visible heartbeat.
I went back at 8+2 we saw the heartbeat easily.
I eventually MC though as my baby was always struggling.

thanks ladies... just seemed strange that my dates were 8 weeks but she said 5 weeks but there was deff a heart beat and i just cant be 5 weeks its not possable ... seeing midwife today so see what she says...
