Please excuse all the posts I'm making today.. can anyone tell I'm in the TWW and obsessing!!! ](*,)

Right, I'm seriously on a mission not to do ANYTHING that could harm any possible bean during my TWW.

I tend to do exercise with friends a couple of times a week, which I know is a good thing, but do you think anything could prove harmful just in case the beginnings of a bean are inside me??!!

I tend to either go swimming, jogging, cycling, aerobics, tennis etc (we just vary it so we don't get bored!). Are all of those save? I wouldn't want anything to 'shake' a beanie around!

Yes I'm stupid and being overcautious and irrational but I want this soooooooooooooooo much. I'm only 2DPO!! xx

I know exactly how you feel!! I'm not sure I can offer you too much advice, except to say that a friend of mine who is 8 wks pg has been told the only 2 things she shouldn't do is trampolining and water skiing..??!!

Good luck!

I feel the same!!! Im so scared of risking any chance I have that I could be pregnant!!!
My OH thinks im mad but I cant help feeling like that.
I think your ok to do light exercise, nothing that will put too much strain on your body.
Im soooo glad im not the only one who thinks the same way!!

Thanks obe, i've been for a gentle run so hopefully i won't have 'shaken' my insides up too much!

My Dr. said that if you've been exercising, you can continue into pregnancy. The problem is when people start exercising once pregnant because it puts a lot of strain on your body. I wouldn't push it too hard, but a light run probably won't hurt. xx

Keep it fairly light, but I do carry on as normal, the increased blood flow and oxygenation is actually good for you and implant etc.

My GP told me to carry on as usual even though I do contact sport (unihock and basketball)! She said you would instinctively "protect" your body, and certainly in the early stages the baby is taking very little from you so you would be OK. Obviously as you get bigger then its a different story! However my sister is having IUI and she was told to do nothing during her 2WW, she usually cycles and swims, and was told not to do either! But this might have been the clinic being extra careful! I have a trampette but am steering well clear of that during my 2WW! But otherwise carrying on as usual but perhaps just been a bit more cautious and not exerting myself as much as usual!
