How much formula?

How many oz of formula is/was your baby taking in 24 hours at 1 month of age? What's average? I'm worried I'm overfeeding her

Aidan is nearly 4 weeks. he takes between 3 1/2 - 5oz and has around 7 bottles in 24 hrs.
I was worried about overfeeding too, as he's now gained 2lb since birth and never lost any birth weight! Health visitor is happy with him and says everything is fine. x

harry has a bottle every 3-4 hours and takes 3-4oz in each feed. he is 4 weeks today an put 2lbs on since birth. he is now 11 lbs!

About 10 million oz. I can't remember exactly but she was breast and bottle fed and still polishing off more than bottle fed babies. Aparently they can't have too much, they just bring it up.

Is she spitting it back up?? Otherwise i dont think you can overfeed as like toria said they just bring it back up. Jacob eats ALOT but health vistor said its fine. He never has a set amount he eats and time frame. He could go an hour and have 3oz and go 4 hours on that or other times he can have 7oz and only go 2 hours. Its like us, if you have a meal an hour ago and you get hungry your not going to wait another 2 hours before you eat again, it the same with babies XXXX

Aw okay she's about the same as above...she takes in between 24-28 oz a day! From my rough estimate I think she's gained about 2lbs too or maybe a tad more. My scale doesn't go in oz!

Thats about how much Jasmine had too.... if she is spitting up the she is having too much, sometimes Jasmine overeats and pukes some up, but I try not to let her overeat.

amber was on 3oz bottles 6 times in 24 hours.
sometimes 4oz.

my mate was feeding her lil girl 7oz 5 times in 24hours.

Ashlyn is almost 5 weeks and she's eating 4 oz. every 3-4 hours.... I think I'm feeding her too much too but everywhere I read they say thats right and so did the doctor.

Helena eats 2 - 4 oz every 2 hours. Usually 2 during the night because she is sleepy and 4 during the day. Sometimes more, but thats usually it.

urm elouise was on 6/7 feeds a day at 3/4 ounces. i wouldnt worry too much about overfeeding her, she wouldnt take more than she could handle hun, and if her weight gain is good, its the right amount! hows everything going? enjoying mummyhood? X
