How much notice do you think is adequate for family coming to visit?

People popping round doesn't bother me. What does is when my MIL calls or text me to say they have booked the campsite and will arrive in a couple of days time, doesn't sound too bad as they've given us 2 daysish notice but they live 4hrs away so always come for atleast a week! She doesn't care if I have things planned in that week, and never asks if it's okay to come over, she just does. I'vw actually considered just out of spite telling them that I'm away all week!

I don't mind. I love visitors, friends or family. Just as long as it isn't late (i.e after the children are in bed).
