My LO was taking 5oz every 4 hours and sinking the bottle. He is now waking every 3 hours and he will take cooled boiled water but will start rooting for more food and we end up cuddling rocking etc to stretch out to 4 hours. Should I up oz or should I look at hungry baby milk??

If he's draining the full bottle the majority of the time then I'd up the oz's

The pediatrician told me that a baby that young should not have water as it fills them up when they are rooting but does not give them the calories they need, plus they get all the liquid they need from the milk at this stage. Maybe that is why LO is so hungry all the time?

Up the oz. He might be having a growth spurt and will need the extra milk. Autumn can bounce anywhere between 3 to 5 ounces with feeds and she's 4 weeks old. Some times she takes a few sucks and passes out, some times she sinks 4 oz in about 5 minutes. Just feed what baby demands, his tummy knows what he needs :)
