Lucy is 8 weeks tomorrow and takes between 5-6oz 5 times a day generally! However, in the last week she has started throwing quite a lot of milk back up again, not projectile but it does come back up. I wind her twice during the feeds so she doesn't get gassy but it still happens. Sometimes she is still bringing a bit back up 3 hours after a feed, is this normal??

Any advice would be great thanks

Same here! Happened to my LO. I've been told that it's reflux. My LO was doing fine until last week. Yesterday I changed the formula to anti reflux (Aptamil AR). He didnt throw up or even spit since then.

And I dont knw if it's normal or not, I just had to do sth about it as it was really frustrating.

Have you tried the next size teat? Brady is a sicky baby and i put his teat up a size at about 8 weeks, made a lot of difference, i think they take leas air in when they can handle a faster flow.

I tried to do so, but made it worse.

My youngest used to vomit ALOT! I used to have to change her four or five times throughout the day. And it was whole feeds she was bringing up.

I was so upset i was doing something wrong. It didnt look like she was upset or it was hurting her but i was referred to the hospital as she lost lots of weight. They put her on Enfamil which was prescription only.

Maybe bubs isnt getting on with the milk. What are you feeding her? Maybe its too rich. My niece didnt get on with sma gold but was fine on cow and gate

Have been using SMA gold.

She doesn't throw up the whole bottle and I can usually get it in a bib so she doesn't need changing, maybe it's not as bad as I think it is.

Is the anti-reflux milk expensive, might try that and see how she goes!!

Hope I'm not over feeding her though - I don't make her have it if she doesn't want it but I don't take the bottle out of her mouth for a while and try to get her to continue, she spits it out when she's done and then I stop.

Maybe just try and wind her half way through the feed. If shes not losing any weight when your health visitor checks her weight then i wouldn't worry too much about it. It sounds like your doing the right thing :)
