how much smp do you get when youre paid monthly?

Hi quick question hope you can help. I'm just thinking ahead... How much is your smp each month before tax if you are paid monthly? Do they pay you the weekly rate every 4 weeks or do they work out how much it should be for the amount of weeks you propose to take and divide it by how many paydays that's over? Confused! La st time i was in a différent job being paid weekly so it wasn't an issue. I'm concerned they'll try to pay me 4 weeks of smp every payday which will work out as less! Lol any advice?

It changes each month depending on how many weeks there are in a month. Mine maternity pay is all

I got after deductions about 543 amonth i think it was

So how would they work it out because there are rarely five full weeks in a month it's usually 4 weeks 3 days one month then 4 weeks 2 days next month etc so what happens with the extra days? It's so confusing

I believe it's done on the number of Sundays in the month.
