How much weight did you lose after birth?

Just curious! And for those who didn't diet, how much did you lose due to blood volumes decreasing/uterus shrinking etc. in the first six weeks?
 
I lost about 10kg both times by about 3 days after birth. It tool a few days as I had fluids given to me. I lost a further 10kg after that with Thomas but gained it all back again as I got lazy.
 
I lost 13 lbs and have since gained 3 back. Now at 7 weeks pp also I am bfing
 
At 6 weeks pp I had lost 40.5 lb. Without dieting or exercise I ended up losing about 56 lb total just from breastfeeding (I gained 45 in pregnancy).
 
I don't actually weigh myself but I was back down to less than I was When I first got pregnant at 5 weeks PP.
now at 5 months im almost a stone less than I was before I got pregnant xx
 
I put on 44lb with DD, and had lost 33-35lb (I can't remember exactly) by 3 weeks pp. I gained back about 11lb of it due to bad eating habits (I blame being permanently hungry due to pumping several times a day!). I was SO swollen right after I had her though, as she was an EMCS after 2 days of labour, and I was totally overloaded with fluid as I had a drip as well as being made to drink loads, so I probably weighed a fair bit more (and therefore lost more) at the moment of delivery than I did when I weighed myself the day before! I had pretty bad fluid retention in my 3rd trimester, so I think much of my pregnancy weight was water, and only about 10lb was fat, lol.

At 5.5 months pp I started doing slimming world and now at 8 months pp have lost all my baby weight plus a few more lb, and now have just under a stone to go before I reach my 'happy weight' :D
 
I gained 26lbs in entire pg. Lost 21lbs aftwr 2 1/2 weeks after birth. Took 4months ish to loose 5more lb's
 
Couldn't say exactly as I never kept track of exact weights but was back to pre-preg weight by around 6-7 months PP without doing anything to get there. Most of it came off in the first 6-10 weeks.
 
I probably lost about 13 lb after delivery but was still extremely swollen (had a csection). My weight stayed pretty constant after that at 6 wks pp. For me it didn't really start to drop until I started to exercise and eat smaller portion sizes. I am EBF. I am now less than 5 lb away from my pre preg weight at 7 months pp. I gained something like 45 lb when pregnant.

I lost about 10 kgs (22 pounds) in the first 6 weeks/so far.
 
as soon as i pushed her out i lost every pound i gained during pregnancy which wasnt much at all but 7 pounds. it was all baby hah.. i was immediately back at my pre-pregnancy weight and at 3 weeks postpartum i weighed 2 pounds less than my pre-pregnancy starting weight. my 6 week checkup is in 3 days and im currently still 2 pounds less.
 
Gained 36lb and at four weeks had lost 33lb, baby is five weeks tomo and think I'm at same weight as pre pregnancy, hoping to lose another half a stone before six week check which will actually be at just over seven weeks.

Same here - I had a bmi of just over 20 pre pregnancy and just under 20 now. I'm eating like a horse, for me breastfeeding is what does it. With ds as soon as I stopped breastfeeding I put a few pounds back on but reduced what I was eating to control it.
 
Well, reading all these posts is a bit depressing! :haha: I gained 47lb and I've still got most of it to lose 8 months down the line. AND I've been breastfeeding. Hmph. My diet just went straight out the window when I got pregnant.. was just stuffing myself all day every day cos I had an excuse! And since I had her I've done an AWFUL lot of comfort eating as I've had quite bad PPD. I tried to go on a diet a few times and just couldn't bear it... now I'm feeling a lot better and I'm back on track. Now I've just gotta resist weighing myself EVERY DAY!!

I went from 14st on the day I went into labour to 12st 9 in a matter of weeks, and then I just perfectly maintained that 12st 9 ever since, give or take a few lb. Like I said I've eaten shit though.. so I'm hoping now I'm back on the healthy eating I'll be able to lose it quite easily since I'd plateaued when I was eating like a pig!
 
I lost 17.6 kgs in the first 6 weeks. I put on 10.2 kgs during my pregnancy. Would like to lose another 5 or 6 kgs 😊
 
I don't know my weight, as I asked my nurse not to tell me at each appointment. I gave birth not knowing how much I gained. At my 4 week checkup, I had lost 27lbs and was told that I had only gained 24 during the pregnancy. I went back again (for birth control purposes) 2 weeks ago and have now lost 40 total. I'm not trying to lose weight and I really should not lose anymore.

I'm not dieting and I only breastfeed part of the time (combi-feeding). It must be the whole "single mom of three" thing. I barely get time to myself. :(
 
I'm going to be the shocker here, but I gained 81 POUNDS. Yes.. 81 pounds with my DS! A good portion was water weight, I was so swollen the last two weeks I was putting on 10 lbs a week. I was borderline pre eclamptic. I was 161 before I got pregnant, the last time I weighed myself before birth I was 242 pounds. Two days after birth I was down to 195. Now at 8 months post partum I weight 175. :( still got 16 pounds to lose. But I haven't been working out or eating as healthy as I should.
 
With this one I gained 30-35lbs and lost 20lbs by 1 week postpartum. I had some swelling towards the end, and had been eating healthily due to GD. With my other kids I gained about the same and lost 25lbs over the first 2 months or so then lost the rest after I stopped BFing around 11 months pp.
