We had a great routine over the past few weeks, where little one feeds like clock work every 4 hours, he had 6 feeds, at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm, 11pm(Hubby does before bed), 3am. This is a fab routine as my 3year old has started nursery now, we leave the house at 8.30am to drop him off and 11.30am to pick him up again, so the times above worked really well, plus lo is a very windy baby who struggles to bring it up so often a 45min feed......

So my question is that for the past few nights lo has slept through till 4.30am, i am over the moon as it means we are getting a 5 and half hours through a feed, yeyyyyyyy. But obviously our times have all changed and not very convenient, so now- 8.30am(just as we are leaving), 12.30pm(we dont get back from the pick up til 12.45 as we walk)4.30pm, 8.30pm etc..... and then when would i give the last feed, should i still give him a dream feed around 11pm?I doulbt he will take much.

Obviously i am soooo not complaing as i have waited 3months for a better sleep but could you give me any advice, i am awre that we are working to stretching him through the night then hopfully he will have a last feed at 11ish then go through to 6am ish.

Thanks for reading.x

Could you not keep the old times as they are and only change the one in the middle of the night? Maybe you could even drop a feed and make the quantity more at each feed so LO still gets enough

Could you not wake your lo up earlier so you can keep the same routine in the day rather then wait for LO to wake up and feeding her at 8.30 which isnt convinient for you - just an idea!
