how much would baby weigh at 36 weeks?

Can anyone help me figure this one out...baby weighed 4 pounds 10 oz at 31.4 weeks. I am now 36 weeks and am being induced at 38 weeks, Dr. keeps saying she will be bigger than average but based on her past weight, how much does she way now (36 weeks) and how much do you think she should weigh on d-day at 38 weeks...obviously it can vary, but I'm just so curious....babies gain 1\2 ounce a week right?

I was told they gain 1/2 ounce a day from 36 weeks onwards when I had my growth scan at 36+1 if that helps but I don't know what the weight gain is before that, sorry!

at 35 weeks LO was predicted at just under 6lbs but they are not always correct, going by the calculations i have at least an 8lber in me right now and my bump is tiny it would be interesting to see if its right

She's probably about 6lbs, 10oz now and will be about 7lbs 10oz at delivery, give or take a few ounces. Remember that she could have had a growth spurt at that time and maybe she won't be that big, or maybe she'll be bigger. You never know with these babies.

7lbs, 10ozs is a great size! My son was born at 38 weeks and that was his weight. Looked perfect!

My last was born at 36 and she was 6lb 12oz was told she was on the bigger side for her gestation

I had a scan at 36 + 1 last week and her estimated weight was 6lbs 14oz. My first daughter born at 42 weeks was 7lbs 14oz. I am having this baby at 38 + 3 so im thinking she will be pretty big for her gestation x

My son was born at 36 + 2 days and weighed 6 lbs 9.

I had to be induced at 35+5 due to amniotic fluid leaking and the Dr, told me most babies born at 36 weeks are about 5.5-6 lbs. Thats average though. My daughter always measured about a week behind and was 5lbs. 3 oz.
Another friend of mine had a 35 weeker and he was just over 6 lbs. but he was measuring big.

6lbs is the average at 36 weeks. My LO was 6lb 2

I had a scan yesterday at 37+2 and LO measuring 3.03kg which I think is slightly over 6lbs

I think from about the start of third tri babies put on an average of 1/2 a pound a week.
