How often do you feed your 4 month old and how much?

Hi Girls,

Just wondering how many feeds per day does your Lo have?.
My Lo is 4 months and has 5 bottles a day, about 5/6 oz every time every 3-4 hours. He is about 141bs now.

At that age Isaac was feeding every two hours about 4oz.

Our little girl has just turned 4 months and has 7-8oz every 4hrs during the day. We try 7am 11 3 7 but always depends on the wake up time. She's been doing this for about a month now

Lo needs 47 ozs per day so quite often! He's 18lbs!!

My lo was 16lbs at 4mths. Hewas getting 6- 51/2oz bottels. Somewhere in the earlier part of 4mths it changed to 5- 61/2oz bottles every 3-4hrs.

Nursing every 3/3.5 hours during the days and when she was sleeping well at night, nursing every 5-7. Now, at night, she's every 2-3.

My lo has 5 bottles a day at 6,9,12,3,6 most days he has 7oz a bottle and is 13lb10 (tiny boy) he sttn with no bottles.

He was 16lbs 2oz at 12 weeks.

My daughter is 3.5 months and has about 150 ml (5 oz?) usually every 3-5 hours. She usually eats 6 times a day, though has dropped a feed occasionally. She's small though (9th centile) and is probably only about 12 lbs or so, give or take. She was 10 lbs 10 oz at her last weigh in a few weeks ago.

Jonathan eats 5.5 oz every 3-4 hours. Before bed he downs 8 oz of milk everytime! He used to sleep from 7pm to 4am wake up to eat then go back down but he has been waking every two hours to eat.. giggle.. talk.. etc lol

Does she still have the tongue thrust thing? Sam did when we tried a few wks ago, but still mAnaged to gobble down purée!!

He reacted to broccoli/apple mix so stopped, he's cows milk/lactose allergy with reflux so need to be careful, and I thought if he's sensitive to basics like broccoli or apple then I'm stopping til I see the Paeds dietician again!!

She had the tongue thrust thing at first but now just eats and gets really cross because I don't feed her fast enough lol! She'll eat anything, I give her baby porridge for breakfast, fruit for lunch then either home made food blended or a jar for dinner with fruit for pudding, I'm going to introduce a proper lunch soon. My little girl used to be sick all day that's why I weaned early and she's hardly sick since starting solids

I hope your little mans feeling better soon, he might just be too young so still has a sensitive tummy especially if he has allergies xx

Forgot to say he also has a small amount of baby brekkie and then a small amount of pureed veg for dinner since 18.5 weeks as he ate constantly from birth until then pretty much and had awful reflux, its pretty much non existent now with gaviscon and weaning.

My LO gets about 45-50oz of formula a day, usually 6-7 oz bottles every 3 hours. She still wakes up 3 times at night to feed I'm tired lol

Ahhh I'm glad to hear someone has a baby similar to mine! My HV gave me a bit of grief about my DS's weight - he was 15lb 11oz at 13 weeks and she said that was too much He is completely in proportion to his height though and is generally a very hungry baby! He is 3 and half months now and he is taking 8oz at 9am, 2pm and 7pm, then a top up of somewhere between 3-5oz at 9pm, then takes roughly 5-6oz at 5am.

My LO is 18 weeks and has 4 x 7oz bottles a day. 7.30am, 11am, 2.30pm, 6pm (give or take 30 minutes either way). He sleeps through from 7pm to 7am.
