How often do your babies feed?

I've read and heard from quiet a few people that babies around Oscars age should be feeding every 3-4 hours.
he'll feed less when we're out and about and busy but when we're at home he'll feed every 2 hours or so. Sometimes it's a long feed overtimes its a quick drink or a feed to get him to go to sleep or a bit of comfort. Is this ok? Am I overfeeding him?

That sounds totally fine. My LO fed every 2 hours at that age. He only goes 2-3 hours now, but has dropped his night feeds.

newborn to 2 months she fed on the hour, not even kidding, though roughly around 2 months she started sleeping better at night but in the daytime it was still hourly. 3months - 5 months it was every 2 hours, then when I started adding solids in she drank less. Also my supply dropped hugely around 7 months so I started adding in more formula.

I really dislike being asked this question by every Dr and Health Visitor I see.

As my honest answer is "I don't know"

It's really different every day.

I feed her when she's hungry and don't when she's not.

She's gaining weight well and sleeps pretty well so I don't mind if it's every 4 hours or every 40 minutes.

Some days I have extra snacks and drinks or don't feel like a big lunch etc.

My twins would stay on ALL the time if I let them. No kidding. They cluster feed all evening and a large part of the morning. I suspect I am not replenishing my milk. They of have sleep like logs through the night, donuts the price of sleep.

I do not think you have any fixed time for babies to feed .Feed them whenever they want.
They get tired very fast while sucking .So its not like once they feed and their tummy is full. They feed in very short interval of time .I was feeding my sons after every 2-3hrs and by Gods grace they were gaining weight .

Vin usually goes up to one hour between feeds during the day unless he's having a freakishly long nap or he's in the car. He's 16 weeks. Always been the same, he's a very fat, big, hungry baby lol!
Overnight he usually sleeps 9-4am or sometimes right through til 6/7am.

My first used to feed all night as well as all day!
