How often is everyone doing it?

Hi there i feel like im pushing my OH too much as i we have sex every night and i hate it when we miss a night incase we have missed the chance. I was just wondering how often everyone else is having sex and am i doing it the right way?

I think sperm can last for up to 5 days, so I don't think you'll miss a chance if you miss 1 night

We're doing the sperm meets egg plan, we every other night from CD8 until I get +OPK then we every night for 3 days, miss 1 day & then 1 more day (for luck, I think). We did almost the same last month apart from the 3 days & then 1 day & dh was really knackered by the time I told him we could stop but he's willing to do it all again & more this month, will probably help that we'll be in Spain on holiday when I O

When I was trying to get preggo I had sex every night! But that is not out of the norm cuz we usually have sex every night anyway. Goood luck hun!!

Being on the pill on top of being on anti-depressant medication has really screwed with my libido. We even tried counselling for a while because I was just NEVER horny. Like sex never entered my mind and I felt sooo guilty because of it.
I'd say at the moment we have sex around 3 times a month, I know, not much we have been together 7 years right enough - it was much more than that at the start! I guess you just kind of fall into a routine. When I read about other couples having sex every night I feel BAD.

Now that I'm off the pill, I hope my libido will come back.............

As my husband is a police officer it's hard sometimes as his shifts are a nightmare at times but it normally always works out every other night or day till about day 10 then its every day sometimes twice for the next week or so to make sure there is plenty of his men in there ready to go lol

i wouldnt worry, well, like you i was!, i thought if we werent BDing every other day thru my fertile period then we wouldnt have any luck.
As it happens my DH wouldnt do every day, infact we only did it twice that month (once when i had a pos OPK and once earlier in the month).
I told him our chances would be zero!.
Later that month my 6(YES 6!) pregnancy tests told me otherwise!.
So the moral of the story is, it only takes once chance!

We did it everyday for two weeks, poor DH told me he was "drained," after the end of it.

having sex every night doesn't increase your chances of getting pregnant.

When we TTC #1 we did it every other day and mainly concentrated our effords on the days I was ovulating (I used a persona monitor). Now that we TTC #2 we gonna do exactly the same.

My gyne told me that every second night is the way to go, he said that every night can wear out the sperm production.

bexxy_bee, I am like you, I get all worried if we miss a night and think we've missed our chance! I'd say on average we bd every other day (sometimes every day if i get my way!) during the fertile week, and 2 occasionally 3 times a week the rest of the month

Every other day and on the day i get +ve OPK and the day after - i would rather every day of that week but DH finds it too much every night!!! also i have read that every other is better for the production
