How often should your temps change

Hi just got my first thermometer and opk's
used an opk before and there were two lines the test line not as dark so take this as a neg as when searching the internet it says that it has to be as dark or darker to be a positive.
I am cd12.
Took my temp today for the first time so probably not going to know how it compares as right in the middle of my clycle.
When I took it this morning it was 36.1 and now it is 36.4.
Is your temp suppose to change through out the day?

hi hun with temping your only suppposed to temp first thing as your bodys temperature increases throughout the day and is less accurate.

so the 2nd temp means absoultley nothing and i wouldnt think anything of it.

and yes the for the opk to be positive the line has to be as dark as or darker then the control line so i would take it as a negative. just keep testing and hopefuly that line will get darker for you. x

You get so much conflicting info on the internet as I spotted for about 5 days before my last af and on some sites they say count the first day from the spotting and other from the first day of cramps red blood etc.
I started getting ewcm from about two days after my af finished so I was thinking I may have ov'd early due to the spotting??
Im confusing myself now

hi hun you should count havey flow as cd1 and not spotting its pretty conflicting on the web but thats what i have always been told and ahve read up on it loads too (want to eventually become a fertility specialist when kids start school) so i read up on as much info as i can lol.

i also got ewcm after my af finsihed although this was tinged with a bit of blood and thought i may of ov'd then but i hadn't and ov'd later on .

it is possible to ov straight after af so you never know.

I have just taken another opk test and the two lines were as dark as each other now even though two hours ago one was lighter.

So presume I will ov in the next couple of days, also getting loads of ewcm this afternoon and slight cramping.

OH has just phoned and said he has a banging head ache god he sounds like a woman that doesnt was sex!!!

Oooh yes, def sounds like you are O'ing Tracy - If I was you, I would use the line that guys always use and tell your OH that cures headaches
