How old were you when your parents stopped doing the whole 'santa' thing?

Like the title says, when did your parents stop doing the whole santa thing - You know, stockings and presents at the end of the bed / under the fireplace sort of thing?

This all stopped for me at 17. I personally think I missed out as my mum stopped doing all of ours (mine, my brother's and my sister's) at the same time. Well my brother is 4 years older than me, so he got 4 more Christmases than I did!

What about you? When did Santa stop coming to you?

What do you mean??? Santa still visits me.

I actually found out there was no "Santa" when I realized that Santa had the same handwriting as my mother and father.

i was about 10.

my mum and dad told me that santa could see everything and knew everything. so i wrote him a letter and hid it under a chair and told no one and then was deverstated on christmas morning when i found he hadnt replyed x

LOL I think they stopped when I was 11.. and I was so mad at them!! My brother would have only been 7 and my 9 year old biotch sister ruined Christmas by telling him.. I was still 11 though and while I had my suspicions of course it was still real as long as Santa was coming to my house!!

its never stopped for me, mum still makes it just as special as she ever did, i supposed i realised about 9years old, but it'll never stop x

At least 20 ...or whenever the last time I woke up at my mum's at Christmas was. I moved out when I was 19 but still used to go and stay there over Christmas. I'm sure she'd still do it now if my sister and I were at home x

we never did it. my mum worked every christmas so me and my brother would open presents together when we got up, once my brother moved out (i was 9) my mum switched to night shifts so she would get home at 8am christmas day, we would open presents then she would go to bed for most of the day.

sounds really sad, but i loved it, i had time to spend with my books,toys and usually arts and crafts things, we didnt have any family round and there wasnt the stress of 'christmas dinner' etc. just a nice relaxing day and we would go for a walk out on the beach when my mum woke up in the afternoon

I was 11/12 and my older brother told me santa didnt exsixt and even showed me where my parents hid the presents!! And this is going to sound sad but I used to have what I thought was "magic water" with my wine which the same year my brothers told me it was just normal water! I was like omg how could you lie I was so upset

Santa still comes to me and I'm 24! The Christmas faries bring me new PJs every Christmas eve, I still have a stocking n stuff!
