How on earth do you get out of the house with a toddler and newborn?!

Yay . Well done !.

Bit of fresh air and a walk does wonders when you have been stuck in ! Xx

You have to be very organised and with military precision 👍
I can actually get too places by 9am now but omg sometimes it is super stressful

Good luck

When they were very little I found it alot harder as sometimes she would need fed just as we were going to leave or a poop explosion. I think once your youngest gets into a routine with feeding times it will be much easier to go out.

I find it easiest if I'm up and ready (even if I literally just wash, slap on foundation and brush my hair and get sressed) I can do that in less than 10 mins and then I know I won't be going there stinking or without my teeth brushed.

Then I'd say have your bag packed and even in the car ready to go would be good. Jackets and shoes organised. I don't put clothes out the night before but I always make sure I have sets of shoes because they have a tendency to get lost in this house!

We did at times go to groups with my youngest still in her pjamas and I'd do it there because honestly I'd rather get there than not at all.

I can't think of any advice but honestly it gets soooo much easier. On Thursday I never got home from dropping my OH off until 8.45am and we were all fed, dressed and in the car by 9.25am and that's with a few tantrums so really it gets easier!!

I start at least an hour before hand! Starting with me, the diaper bag, outfits and then get them ready and fed. It's not easy and I only go out when I have to! Dd likes to cluster feed so sometimes it's impossible.

Glad you managed to get out of the house!

I've only been out a few times on my own with both girls. I've had clothes and bags ready the night before, and got myself up and dressed before everyone else...then it's change/feed/dress the baby, get the toddler breakfast, wrestle the toddler into her clothes and get her teeth brushed (this part usually takes the longest ), then change and feed the baby again. Toddler goes into the car first (she's a flight risk if not) and then baby goes in...and off we go.

Actually being out with the two of them is a different story.
