How ounces was your 3 week old eating?

My son is three weeks old and i fed him four ounces which i thought was a Lott every 2-3 hours but pediatrician said it was normal. But now he's more and more frequently and I'm afraid to over feed him. I usually just fed him til he stops or finished his bottle but now he's eating the whole thing every time and someone wanting more.
Hes a big boy btw, about ten pounds.

Scarlett was eating between 3-4oz & 7-8 bottles at 3 weeks & she was only just over 6lb (she was 5lb5 born) she just ate what she wanted.
She is 9 weeks tomorrow and now eats 6 bottles of 6oz and is 9lb7 xx

You can't overfeed him, just feed on demand.

Thanks ladies, I always feed him until he's full. But people look at me like I'm stuffing him and say he's too young to be eating so much. I always stick up for my son saying.he's just big. Hehe.

If your son is not gassy, does not spit up frequently, has regular poos/pees, and does not have colic then I say feed him as much as he wants. My 3 week old was taking 6 oz and I thought I was overdoing it like you're worrying about. My pediatrician told me to offer him as much as he wanted because when a baby is hungry it means their body needs the nutrients they are craving.

my niece was FF from 3 weeks old and she took 3 oz bottle every 2 hours or so.

my sister upped it to 4 oz when she was a month old I think

LO was drinking 3-4 ounces every 2 hrs... I think. I honestly can't remember but I think thats right.

my lo is drinking between 2-4oz every 2-4 hours she really varies i just give her how much she wants and she is a happy healthy girly

My ds is 4 weeks tomorrow and takes between 4-6ozs every 3-4 hrs x
