how regular will my periods be after clomid?

Hello lovely ladies,

I'm on round 5 of Clomid. (Doc put me on this for six months). If I don't get pregnant in these six months, what will my cycle by like when I come off it? In your experience, do periods carry on being regular after coming off clomid? Or can they go back to being irregular?

I'm planning a Christmas holiday and my partner may not be able to come with me. I will have come off Clomid by then and am worrying I might ovulate while I'm away.

Any advice?

from what i understand clomid only affects your body for the cycle you use it during... so even after 6 months, it should go back to whatever it naturally is (similar to when you come off of BCP)
