Just seen this girls facebook status (I know her but not very well)
It says:
is growing tired of hearing young mothers moaning about not having a social life because of their children. Theres a simple solution to this. DONT HAVE KIDS SO EFFING YOUNG!!!!!!!!

I commented on it and said - Not every child is planned, accidents happen.

Its really annoyed me :growlmad:

xx

Yeah she said - yea accidents happen but if teenagers cant handle the responsibility they should do the decent thing and hand the responsibility to a couple who can. just the way i feel

So i said - True, but it must be really hard to give ur own baby away, I know i couldnt do it

Then she said - it probably is. i know in myself that if a baby had a better chance in life with another family i would do it. just makes me mad when little girls say having a baby has ruined their life whens its their fault for not taking the precautions and not thinking logically

I havent replied.
haha she said, then i said then she said!!
xx

Blah she's clueless. Tell her to get pregnant and see if she can really give her baby up for adoption. She makes it sound like giving a baby away is the easiest thing to do! Good for you though!

Edit: Btw, it's so easy for someone to say what she said, because she has no idea what it's like to go through an unexpected pregnancy and then decide to keep your baby, and how hard it is to actually be a young parent. :flower:

shes just a silly little girl, no idea what it feels like to be a young woman and a mother x

edit, even mothers in their late 40s will be moaning about having no social lives lol

things like this always piss me off, majourly. Then again people are always gonna be small minded loosers. Dont let it get to you :)xxx

tell he to go get pregnant, stay pregnant for 9 months, watch other people having babies and experiencing the good side of things and then give up her baby. THEN see how she does. People like her need to go through something like that before they can judge it xx

:nope: I hate it when people think it's ok to come out with stereotypical & unjustified rubbish like that. good on you for replying to her though! x

she hasn't got a child so she doesn't know what she would do as she has never been in that situation, I would delete her! xxx

I really wanted to reply to her but im to much of a nice person lol. I didnt wanna upset her by being rude even if she was in the wrong
xx

She didn't mind being a 'know it all and being rude to begin with' people like that annoy me

My aunt is 24, 'unplanned' baby that we think she planned..but at 24, she hands her baby off just about every weekend. Livi's only 8 months! So it's not just teen moms at all.

Im not saying shes right at all cos I dont think young mums should just give their babies up for adoption - but they also shouldnt be complaining that they dont have a social life or a babys 'ruined' their life, they made the choice to keep this baby so they should accept what comes with it. xx

I don't think ANYONE should be complaining they don't have a social life. Tough Shit. You made that decision when you kept the baby.If you expect to have a baby and still go out on the piss every weekend then IMO you should rethink your priorities as a mother. There's nothing wrong with overnight stays away, in fact Summer stayed at my MIL's last night. But would I ever expect it? No. If Summer couldn't go away overnight then I wouldn't complain. Yes, it's nice to spend some time just me and OH and get a good nights sleep but I would never complain about not having a social life. The girl's wrong to stigmitise like that but IMO she's got it right in principle.

:nope: what does she know?!

A guy in my college class said something similar like " This country is so messed up because people are having unplanned pregnancies and keepin the babies then not goin to work and sponging off the social" I went MAD, made it very clear that not everyone does that and even though sometimes they are unplanned, doesn't make them any more unwanted at all!! :grr: makes me really mad when people have opinions on teens/young parents!!!

He said that?!? What an idiot. I hate when people think all young mummies don't work. I worked in excess of 45 hours a week before and when pregnant with Summer and my OH works full time! Some people are so one- minded. It's ANYONE who's too lazy to work that contribute to this country being in a mess xx

To be fair I'm a young mum and it annoys me when I see other young mums moaning about not having a social life because they have babies....

You CAN have a social life, just one that includes the child that YOU created.

I know Natasha, let me tell you, I wasn't the only one to be on his case...I think he really regretted saying it!! Most of the people on my course are/were young mothers lol!

Oh and I told him that it takes two to tango and that the men (boys) cause unplanned pregnancies aswelll....arsehole!!! :haha:
