hi everyone, im 18, have a beauitful 8 month daughter, have my own house and in a fantastic relationship with the love of my life. i have just dropped out of college as i really didnt like it and being away from my daughter was just too hard, espesially now she is about to crawl and just started saying mama. me and my partner really want another baby but have decided not to start trying until after xmas, my only worry is how im going to tell my mum. i told her my 1st was an accident (it wasnt) and she saw straight through it so i dont want to lie to her again. any suggestions?

I would say just go for it. If both you and your OH are willing then don't see why what your mum has to say about it is an issue.

It will be your child, not hers. So what if she gets mad about it for a while, it won't last forever and if it does it's her loss.

Maybe she will be a bit more prepared this time? I imagine when you had you daughter it will have been a shock for her, but this time she might even surprise you and be excited about it after getting used to you being a mummy :) She might actually respect you being honest and see you as being really mature about it by just saying "yeah we planned it" (maybe not like that lol)

Your daughter is beautiful by the way! You look so happy in your dp :)

At the end of the day its your family and you definitely have stability and security in your current situation, so there's really no reason for her to be unhappy about it.

Just go for it!

I hope that helps xxx

i too am in this position. If you find the answer let me know! :flower:

Being Grandma possibly came as a bit of a shock to her first time round, she might be more relaxed and/or excited this time?
