How soon after did you get BFP?

I'd like to ask anyone who has had MC and then gone on to get BFN, how soon after they were able to? I know some people choose to wait, but if you starting trying again straight away, how long did it take. I know everyone's different, but I just want to have a general idea so I can get my head a bit straight instead of feeling like I can't function again til I'm pregnant. I think it would help to have some real stories to base some realistic expectations on? Please let me know yours?

Hi there - I had my mc at just over six weeks in January 09. We wanted to started ttc staright away so I started temping and using clear blue ovulation sticks again only a week after my mc.

It showed I ov'd about 2 weeks after my mc and I had a BFP two weeks later.

I'm praying that this bean sticks.

hi, i had a dnc this time last yr , af didnt cum bk proper till may,and we started ttc then , i got in nov08 x

I had a d&c at the end of feb last year, started ttc right away and got a bfp again at then end of october.

I had early mc jun 08, BFP the next month I had ERPC for mmc sept 4th 08, then had 1st AF 4 weeks later then my BFP I'm now nearly 24 weeks, Good Luck! x x

I had a blighted ovum in may 2008. Discovered at 7 weeks. It took 4 weeks for it to completley pass, and the docs said to wait a month. It took me until Nov 2008 to get a BFP, mc again, and then 5 weeks later after no AF, got another BFP, and I am 12 weeks now.

That other BFP is out there somewhere for you! I promise!

When i hd an ectopic, i got bfn 7days after surgery, then 4 weeks later BFP!!!!!

Hello,
Like you i felt like i wouldnt be able to function till i got pregnant again after my mc.

I first mc in May 08 and needed ERPC, we started trying again after bleeding stopped. Got BFP in July 08 which sadly ended in early mc. After the bleeding stopped we started to try again. Got third BFP in the end of Septmeber 08 which ended in mc after a week and half. As soon as bleeding stopped we started to try again, didnt get BFP till December 08 and that ended in mc.

Again when bleeding stopped we stared ttc and got a BFP in January- told myself if bean didnt stick then we would take a six month break and try later, so far been taking baby aspirin and regular scans showed that bean is still sticking. Will be 12 weeks on Monday. Fingers crossed!!

I was starting to lose all hope but things are starting to look good. Touch wood it stays like that.

I started to miscarry on the 13th Feb, i'm pretty sure i ovulated exactly 14 days later, and on Friday (13th March) i got my new so just 4 weeks later.

I'm petrified but hoping this one's a sticky.
