How soon after my miscarriage can I start having sex again?

My miscarriage was confirmed on the 28th after a visit to the ER when I was 10 weeks, 3 days. My Doctor said the baby died in my 7th week. I'm still bleeding, not as heavily as it was 3 days ago. I want to have sex with my man! When the bleeding stops of course but maybe that's not the best idea? I read somewhere that I shouldn't have sex for 3 weeks.

It's fine once the bleeding stops. For me I was a bit crampy after the first couple of times so you might want to take things gently just incase.

I didn't have sex until 3 weeks after my miscarriage as that was now long my bleeding was! However, you can have sex as soon as the bleeding stop and it should be fine.
